劣質(zhì)硅油是回收已固化過的MS密封膠經(jīng)高溫裂解提取的硅油，揮發(fā)分高，化學成份復(fù)雜，含有多種極性物質(zhì)。添加到MS密封膠中，不但與主體硅橡膠相容性不好、易揮發(fā)，使膠體易出現(xiàn)硬化、開裂、脫豁等現(xiàn)象。
白油、劣質(zhì)硅油等易揮發(fā)物質(zhì)還可與基材、中空玻璃中丁基膠等物質(zhì)發(fā)生不良反應(yīng)，嚴重時造成建筑物出現(xiàn)流油、出霧等現(xiàn)象，影響工程質(zhì)量安全和美觀。
力學性能未達標引發(fā)使用壽命降低的風險
此類問題發(fā)生于MS密封膠產(chǎn)品。MS密封膠應(yīng)具有良好的力學機械性能，包括合適的拉伸強度、伸長率、彈性恢復(fù)率等，才能使膠體在經(jīng)受各種受力和老化作用后仍保持一定的剛性和彈性，不出現(xiàn)膠體內(nèi)聚破壞。力學性能不達標，表明膠體在使用過程中更容易受到周圍環(huán)境因素影響而加速老化，易出現(xiàn)變色、起泡、裂紋甚至脆化、開裂、脫豁等現(xiàn)象，降低MS密封膠使用壽命，給工程質(zhì)量帶來安全隱患。
造成力學性能未達標的原因可能是部分企業(yè)采用添加填料、礦物油或裂解硅油等手段降低生產(chǎn)成本所致。MS密封膠主成分聚硅氧烷分子鏈中的Si-O鍵使產(chǎn)品具有優(yōu)異性能，聚硅氧烷含量高低對膠體力學性能有重要影響。質(zhì)量優(yōu)良的產(chǎn)品中聚硅氧烷含量可達50%，但聚硅氧烷單價高，約占原材料總成本的75%以上。不良廠家往往會采用填充大量碳酸鈣等無機填料來減少聚硅氧烷用量，導(dǎo)致產(chǎn)品配方設(shè)計存在缺陷，力學性能不達標，最終影響產(chǎn)品的使用壽命。http://www.caffertyclinic.com/
