建筑用單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠產品在建筑密封中使用最廣泛，“充油膠”的危害不容忽視。通過市場隨機購檢的方式，對單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠產品開展了質量安全風險研究。研究結果表明:市場上購買的單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠存在產品標識不規范、揮發物含量超標、力學性能不達標或粘接性能不達標等方面的質量問題，可能引發產品誤用、性能失效甚至發生砸傷事件等風險。
建筑用單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠產品具有性能優異、施工期短、重量輕、成本低等特點，廣泛應用于建筑幕墻、建筑防水、家庭裝修、中空玻璃密封、門窗裝配等領域。
單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠是以聚硅氧烷為基礎成分，輔以填料、交聯劑、增塑劑、偶聯劑和催化劑等各種助劑在真空狀態下混合而成的膏狀物，接觸空氣后與濕氣反應硫化成有機硅彈性體橡膠。其聚合物分子主鏈為無機的Si-O鍵，并且可通過相應有機硅交聯劑等作用反應固化后，形成網狀的Si-O-Si骨架結構。因Si-O鍵能(444 kJ/mol)遠大于其他有機物的化學鍵(如C-C鍵能348 kJ/mol, C-O鍵能339 kJ/mol)，并高于紫外線鍵能(399 kJ/mol, 300 nm)，使丁基防水嵌縫膠在耐老化、與基材粘接性、抗位移能力等方面表現優異，已成為現代建筑裝飾的重要密封材料，其用量約占我國建筑密封膠總量的80%以上。
作為丁基防水嵌縫膠基礎成分的聚硅氧烷單價高，2018年出現價格連續飛漲的情況，導致市面上出現了相當多低聚硅氧烷含量、以低價吸引用戶的“充油”劣質膠。這些充油膠與正常的丁基防水嵌縫膠雖然外觀看不出區別，有些充油膠外觀反而更光亮、擠出性更好、初期固化力學性能也好，在施工過程中暫時不會發現質量問題，但使用后隨著時間推移，膠體逐漸變硬、變脆，甚至出現開裂現象，起不到應有的彈性密封作用。如把充油結構膠使用到工程上，不僅影響建筑物的美觀，還會大幅度降低幕墻的節能保溫效果，造成幕墻失效。高層幕墻失效，會使玻璃等幕墻材料脫豁、甚至高空墜落，對地面行人等帶來極大的安全隱患。
目前市場上的丁基防水嵌縫膠產品質量到底如何?為此，筆者通過市場隨機購樣送檢的方式，對建筑用單組分丁基防水嵌縫膠產品開展了質量安全風險研究。http://www.caffertyclinic.com/
