接口設計在結構性裝配中也非常重要。大家知道,丁基防水嵌縫密封膠必須具有足夠的寬度以承受風壓和/或自重等因素,丁基防水嵌縫密封膠寬度要求和大樓受到的風壓和玻璃的尺寸成比例。設計風壓和玻璃的尺寸越大,丁基防水嵌縫密封膠寬度就大;同樣板片越重,丁基防水嵌縫密封膠的寬度就越大;正確的丁基防水嵌縫密封膠深度使密封膠容易安裝并容許結構性接口減少由于不同的溫差位移引起的應力。由于溫度的變化,所有結構性裝配的板片都要經受周而復始的伸張和壓縮。膠深必須正確設計來調節這些運動。由此丁基防水嵌縫密封膠的深度和寬度也應該經過精確計算。
然而,除了丁基防水嵌縫密封膠的寬度和深度達到要求外,易于施工的特性和丁基防水嵌縫密封膠固化特性卻常常被忽略,大部分結構性裝配失敗的原因就產生于此。以L型接口為例,不當的設計不僅使硅膠施打不便,接口不易注滿,而且清潔也不方便,那么丁基防水嵌縫密封膠的粘結性就沒有保證。
有些L型接口設計中(見圖2),丁基防水嵌縫密封膠和耐侯膠被設計在同一接口內,二者用背襯材隔開,丁基防水嵌縫密封膠施打后,往往由于工期緊張,馬上就放置背襯材,然后施打耐侯膠。我們不建議這樣的做法,因為背襯材和外層施打的耐侯膠會阻擋水汽進入接口,阻擋硅膠固化的副產物排出接口,那么丁基防水嵌縫密封膠將無法正常固化。我國某個著名的機場就有這樣的案例,發現單組分丁基防水嵌縫密封膠施打半年后仍舊沒有固化,原來背襯材及其外面施打的耐侯膠阻礙了水汽進入接口。www.caffertyclinic.com
