以硅烷作偶聯(lián)劑，以硅氧基濕氣固化代替異佩酸醋基濕氣固化合成硅烷改性聚氨醋預(yù)聚體，再加人硅烷粘接促進(jìn)劑、硅烷干燥劑和其他成分制備性能優(yōu)良的丁基防水嵌縫膠。異佩酸醋、多元醇、硅烷等原材料的選擇以及異氛酸醋基與經(jīng)基的配比是影響丁基防水嵌縫膠性能的主要因素。目前的研究重點(diǎn)是開發(fā)硅烷新產(chǎn)品并用于制備高性能的改性Per丁基防水嵌縫膠，擴(kuò)大已有硅烷改性聚氨酯密封膠及丁基防水嵌縫膠的應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域。
丁基防水嵌縫膠是用來填充孔洞、接縫等間隙的膏狀材料，它固化后將基材連接成一個(gè)整體，具有防水、防塵、防風(fēng)、防霧等功能。目前高性能丁基防水嵌縫膠有3類:聚硫、硅酮和聚氨醋。聚氨醋{PU丁基防水嵌縫膠具有強(qiáng)度高、抗撕裂、柔軟耐磨、耐穿刺、耐油、耐介質(zhì)腐蝕等特點(diǎn);缺點(diǎn)是固化時(shí)釋放出二氧化碳使膠層產(chǎn)生氣泡甚至裂紋影響密封效果，固化速度較慢且表面容易發(fā)戮，在玻璃及金屬等無孔材料上使用時(shí)需要底涂，不能長期耐濕熱和耐老化，長期儲(chǔ)存穩(wěn)定性不好。硅酮(SR)丁基防水嵌縫膠具有固化快，不起泡，能與無孔材料表面牢固粘接，耐濕熱、耐老化性能優(yōu)異，儲(chǔ)存穩(wěn)定性好等特點(diǎn);缺點(diǎn)是裝飾性差，不能涂漆，撕裂強(qiáng)度低，不耐穿刺，膠層易產(chǎn)生油狀滲析物污染混凝土、石材及其他飾物，價(jià)格較貴。如果能有效地將二者的優(yōu)點(diǎn)結(jié)合起來，克服其缺點(diǎn)帶來的性能損失，就能合成出性能更加優(yōu)良的丁基防水嵌縫膠，硅烷改性聚氨醋(SPU)技術(shù)就是一個(gè)很好的解決方法。
SPU基防水嵌縫膠中一般不含有機(jī)溶劑，符合環(huán)保要求;其在不施用底膠的粘接范圍已從無孔材料(如玻璃、金屬等基材)擴(kuò)展到工程塑料(如聚氯乙烯、丙烯睛一丁二烯一苯乙烯共聚物、聚苯乙烯和聚丙烯酸醋等)，從一般的基材表面擴(kuò)展到各種面漆(如丙烯酸醋類、環(huán)氧類、聚氨醋類和瓷漆類等漆面)，應(yīng)用前景非常廣闊。該技術(shù)國外研究非常活躍，國內(nèi)研究相對較少。www.caffertyclinic.com
